Usually, video game testers are not paid by salary, or set amount per year. They are usually paid per hour. The pay per hour for a beta video game tester can vary widely, based on experience, and significance of the game, but ranges from $8-$80 an hour.
A lot of people say you cannot be paid for playing video games, and they are 100% totally wrong. A lot of people make a very good and satisfying living JUST playing video games all day. Caution to you extremely lazy guys/girls, its not all a piece of cake, at times it can be tedious, and seem like work. Although, if your a true gamer, this will not phase your decision to get paid to play video games day in and out.
